BECOME A VOLUNTEER

We have many ways for our supporters to get involved as a volunteer.  Take a look below to see if any positions fit your interest and the steps to become a volunteer (DIFFERENT STATES MAY HAVE DIFFERENT REQUIREMENTS). If you have skills and talents that are not listed, apply and make a note of what you are able to contribute. We are excited about you joining our team. ALL APPLICANTS WILL HAVE TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.

STEPS:

1.  Read the positions below and find something you are interested in.  If it doesn't exist still apply and let us know via email.

2.  Sign up for orientation on our EVENT page

3.  As soon as you finish signing up for orientation, an email will automatically be sent to you with the next steps.  If you don't see it check your SPAM.

4.  In the email you will get a link for our national application, background checks, and reference forms.  Please submit those as soon as you can.

Volunteer Openings

Mentor-  We are need of mentors who are willing to use their time, talents, and treasures to propel our young women into a successful future.  We ask for a commitment of 5 hours a month. 

 

Fundraisers-  It is impossible to have a thriving organization without access to finances and donations.  We need help in our fundraising department to help solicit funds for our program.  If you are creative, or have a background in fundraising, please contact us.

Program Leaders-  We are in need of women who will serve as program leaders.  This position makes sure that workshops are set up, speakers are booked, and the young women are informed abut the things they need to do.  You will serve as a face of the program, and a team player.

​

Social Media/Communication Intern- Responsible for creating and maintaining a strong social media presence for the organization. Create and send out newsletters to our support base.

Event Planning- We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic event planner to produce events from conception through to completion. Event coordinator responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations.

Data Analyst/ Evaluator-We are looking for a passionate certified Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities  and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
