It has been said, "If you educate a man, you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman, you educate a nation". The Young Women's Empowerment Academy is a group of powerful young women from Buffalo, New York, Lynchburg, Virginia, and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania who are ALREADY changing the world. This summer, they are gearing up for our inaugural Empowered Girl Culture & College Tour.

We are beginning our journey in the Nation's Capital, Washington D.C.. The Empowered Girls will be visiting with some of our Nation's Elected officials, experiencing the marvelous sights of the African American Museum, The National Council of Negro Women, and the prestigious Bowie State University and Howard University.

After our D.C. takeover, we will be headed to the place known to have the Greatest Homecoming on Earth... North Carolina A&T University. Here will we also have an Empowered Girl Pajama Party, followed by our National Empowered Girl Brunch and Awards Ceremony.

We are doing all of this AT NO COST to any Empowered Girl or her family. It is our goal to raise $100,000.00 to cover transportation, food, activities, stipends, shirts, and events.  We are asking that you deeply consider this opportunity to help us expose our Empowered Girls to environments that can further encourage them to be world changers and to see other powerful women who look like them!
