The New Safety Regulations

We want to make sure everyone stays safe at all of our YWEA sites. Here is our plan for how we are handling the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Almost 1 million Americans have lost their lives due to the coronavirus. Some of our friends and family are no longer here due to their inability to recover. We don't want that to continue to happen. Regardless of your thoughts or beliefs, COVID-19 is real, and we want to make sure that we are keeping our empowered girls and volunteers as safe as possible.

Our goal is to do whatever WE can to slow and stop the pandemic. Our number one goal is to keep everyone safe.

Here is what you can expect when your child comes to our sessions:

1. EVERY CENTER WILL BE DISINFECTED PRIOR TO SESSIONS:

We will ensure that all our spaces are kept clean and sanitized to ensure the safety of our team and the empowered girls.

2. EVERYONE WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK:

Unless eating or making a presentation, everyone will be required to wear a mask.

3. EVERYONE WILL HAVE THEIR TEMPERATURE TAKEN:

Upon entry, temperatures will be taken. Anyone with a temperature of 100.0 F will be asked to return home for that day.

4. WE WILL COMMUNITCATE:

If an empowered girl was in contact with someone at session that had Covid, we will send out a text, email, and a call to let guardians know. We will NOT release the NAME of the child who tested positive but we will let you know there was someone present who was infected.

5. WE DO NOT REQUIRE PROOF OF VACCINATION:

We DO NOT require empowered girls to be vaccinated to be a part of our program.
