Join us as we officially kick off another year of the Young Women’s Empowerment Academy (YWEA) in Buffalo! Orientation is a special time for new and returning scholars, families, and mentors to come together, learn more about the program, and set the tone for an exciting year ahead.

Meet the YWEA leadership team and mentors
Learn about this year’s curriculum, expectations, and opportunities
Connect with fellow students and families
Receive important resources and program materials
The Young Women’s Empowerment Academy is a year-long, trauma-informed leadership and life skills program for girls in Western New York. Through hands-on learning, mentoring, and cultural experiences, YWEA equips girls to grow in confidence, resilience, and purpose.
